Ten of Pentacles

Ten of PentaclesKnown also as the Lord of Wealth, and aligned with Mercury in Virgo, the Ten of Pentacles represents valuing one's own worth and a trust in Universal abundance which results in a state of inner and outer wealth. Mercury is communication while Virgo represents organisation and service - the ability to communicate in an organised way brings prosperity, commonsense and practical results. This card brings the fullness of manifestation, ongoing security and being part of something larger than yourself - family, community, country - that brings the feeling of safety and ongoing legacy. This is a card representing the passing on of property and the ongoing security that comes from having created something worthy and tangible, that can stand the test of time. So it refers to inheritances, gifts and other forms of financial and practical largesse. It can also represent something that will live on beyond your lifetime - a book, poem, piece of music or a discovery of some sort that attracts ongoing royalties and can represent a substantial nest egg for now and for future generations. It also means that you may be in a position to leave an ongoing legacy to a worthy cause that is close to your heart. When referring to business, this card can refer to a family business that involves multiple generations. It can also indicate that  available financial means and backing to invest in a new business appears, and has the potential to bring great success and financial rewards. This card also advises responsibility when you are a custodian of the resources represented by this card. The Ten of Pentacles also asks you to count your blessings, to appreciate all of the riches in your life (not necessarily of a financial nature) that you have - love, regard, family, and the affection of friends. “Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life.” ~ Wayne Dyer Image from "Radiant Rider Waite Tarot" ©  Virginijus Poshkus
