Nine of Wands

Nine of WandsThe Nine of Wands is the Lord of Great Strength and is aligned with the energy of the Sun in Sagittarius.  It represents the light of consciousness, inner strength and banishing darkness.

The Sun is the Life Force that drives our endeavours, recognises our value and success, while Sagittarius is always calling us to be more, do more, realise our full potential and stop holding ourselves as small and helpless, for we are so much more than that.

This card brings achievement, success and recovery from circumstances that seemed to be getting the better of you.  And yet you still have access to further resources on which you have not drawn, so don't feel that there is not enough strength or energy to overcome any final obstacles that might arise.

And so this card often signifies the moment when you might feel like giving up, but it need not be so. You do have abundant resources in store and just need to believe in yourself a little more, take a deep breath, and strive once more.

You have every chance of succeeding. This card brings to light those areas of life that we have suppressed, but which, by acknowledging them, will set us free.

What is unknown, or unacknowledged in ourselves is the cause of the most fear and suffering.  The Wands represent realisation, creativity that arises when we feel we are at the end of our rope and have nowhere to turn. Just let go and trust your own creative intelligence to provide answers for you. It will surprise you.

This is a time when you will come across challenges in your life - it might be in work, in health, in finances or in relationships -  and yet you will find that you have the ability to turn these challenges around and often in the most surprising ways. Look at those areas of your life where the realisation of your true power causes you to withdraw.

This card shows you that you are capable of so much more than you have been giving yourself credit for - it is time to walk in your power and own it!
