Known also as the Daughter of the Firmament and the Dweller between the Waters, The Star is ruled by Aquarius and represents connection to the Source, the return of hope and trust in one's Self. Aquarius is the Water Bearer and is the sign of rebellion and reform which is instrumental in creating momentous change. It is focused on the good of all, the bigger picture and is not interested in small individual concerns but instead seeks the vision and the possibility that can only be realised with expanding one's vision for oneself. The Star is another of those cards of the Tarot that many like to see. It is the Daughter of the Firmament and Dweller between the Waters and is ruled by Aquarius, the Water-Bearer. It represents hope, clear vision and cosmic inspiration. The Star connects us to Universal Intelligence, the higher mind of the Universe that we can draw on for help and inspiration whenever we need a boost. This is the Star upon which we can wish for our most fervent desires, and provides a conduit of energy and positive change to those who know how to ask. Under her power, the impossible manifests in surprising ways. She is here to remind us that we don't know everything about the Universe, as much as we tell ourselves we know how things are and what we can expect and what is possible. It signals that your personal Star is about to rise, so when you wish upon a star the goddess hears you and will grant your supplication. When you are wishing on a star you are looking up in a hopeful way, with faith and gratitude for what can be, and not down at the mud and misery which just brings more of the same. Known as the Ruler of Flux and Reflux and the Child of the Sons of the Mighty, The Moon card in the Tarot is ruled by Pisces. It represents change, unconscious forces and intuitive understanding.When The Moon turns its face to you in a reading, it is often time to face the Dark Night of the Soul. There are questions to be answered, assumptions to be dispensed with, and the true nature of your Spirit has the opportunity to show itself, quite apart from the mask you have been wearing. Dreams and fantasies must be attended to, sorted out and the gold taken out of them while the dross is discarded. This can be a confusing time when you face a landscape where not all is as it appears. Pisces is the sign of illusions, fantasies, inspiration, deep-felt compassion as well as sinking in to the depths when the feelings begin to overwhelm.
