The Knight of Swords is sometimes called the Lord of the Winds and the Breezes, and King of the Spirits of Air. His affinity is with the air signs of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. The Knight of Swords is referred to as the Lord of the Winds and the Breezes and King of the Spirits of Air, and he represents the creative aspect of mind and intuitive thinking. He bestows clear perception and freedom from limiting beliefs. He brandishes his sword as he flies along on his steed and there is nothing that will stop or delay him from his purpose. This refers to the quality of a new idea that can overtake you and you cannot stop until you pursue it to its end. As with all the Swords, the ideas that are born can lead to inspiration or conflict and so the danger is to avoid being callous or insensitive while pursuing your purpose. This Knight heralds swift and unmistakable changes to routine and life's ordinary patterns. What starts out as an inspired idea has the potential to sweep all before it and uproot your life and create much disorder.
