The Seven of Cups is the Lord of Illusionary Success and is aligned with Venus in Scorpio. It represents over-indulgence, abundance of choice and illusions. This is a card of choices, and emotional choices at that. There are many tempting opportunities presented to you now and yet you are unable to decide - everything looks good. You will find it difficult to sort out the real opportunities from the illusory ones. and so this card advises to wait as a general rule and don't make any momentous decisions just yet. The air will eventually clear, the fog will lift, and the most beneficial opportunities will eventually become apparent. These choices most often are in the realm of the heart, or with creative choices in career direction. Be sure that your strongest emotions will be engaged and on alert. The Seven of Cups shows you that the Universe is an abundant one, with a plethora of situations, solutions and ideas that could be yours for the taking. It requires you to use your intuition and trust in yourself in order to make the right choice, and not follow the surface attraction of those offers you are presented with. So how has this situation arisen? Have you been scattered in your desires, one moment wanting one thing and the next wanting something else? If you are asked what it is you most desire in the world can you truly answer, and stay with that answer for a long time, in fact, until it comes to you? Or do you change your mind constantly, worried that you might be missing out? It is...

Known also as the Lord of Illusionary Success and aligned with Venus in Scorpio, the Seven of Cups brings a sense of dissatisfaction amidst an abundance of choices. You have gotten everything that you have fought for, and now that you have your choice of prizes you find that you don't want what is on offer - so what do you want? If you find out, let me know! It may be that the choices presented to you are not really tangible and may disappear as you reach for them. This is not the time to make an informed choice - best to wait it out until you are feeling more grounded and sure of what you want. Making a decision towards something that you're not sure of will only lead to further disappointment. There are some powerful unconscious energies at work, and what you try to achieve now will either not come to pass, or if it does, then it will not last. The unconscious is a powerful enigma - we don't understand what it's up to until much later when our conscious plans are lying in the dust. But things have a way of working out anyway, especially if you don't try to force an outcome. You may feel compelled to make a quick decision, but all of the information is not in just yet, so you will need to take a wild guess, rely on your intuition or wait it out until the best choice makes itself known. I'd put my money on the third choice. You have the opportunity to look at where you have...

The Eight of Cups is known as the Lord of Abandoned Success and is aligned with Saturn in Pisces. It represents emotional blockage, lack of clarity and an ongoing search for fulfilment. The Eight of Cups is an emotional and spiritual journey - there is always movement with the Eights, and with the Cups it manifests as a dissatisfaction and an inability to know what one really wants. There is a need to do some deep searching of one's innermost desires, and to come to some understanding of what the subconscious forces in your life have been designing for you and steering you towards. The events of your life will make more sense if you do this work and see the path you have traveled to get you to this point. On a mundane level, this card denotes a journey, often over water. The journey has some emotional basis, perhaps it is to do with someone close to your heart. Here is an underlying restlessness and a sense of ennui that does not allow you to settle and instead causes you to doubt yourself, your decisions and your direction in life. The Eight of Cups is linked to destiny and karma, and so there is a feeling of inevitability with this card. Some area of your life may be coming to an end as it has fulfilled its purpose whether you realise it or not. You may not like what it represents and it may cause discomfort and some emotional pain, but this is in order that something new may come in, something of much more value to you...

The Nine of Cups is also the Lord of Material Happiness and is aligned with the energy of Jupiter in Pisces. It represents love and bliss and deepest joy and is known as the Wish Card. Jupiter never does things by halves - you can be sure that whatever it touches expands greatly and this can be to your benefit or detriment. Jupiter is the ancient ruler of Pisces, before Neptune was discovered and took that role, and so the energy of Pisces and Jupiter together are very comfortable, like old friends or lovers. There is expansion of love in all its forms, since Pisces does not impose boundaries on its feeling nature. There is a flow of fluid energy, and this can really expand your heart chakra and allow you to bliss out on feelings of universal love - indeed it is a time when you feel in tune with others and with nature also. There is a danger with this card of losing yourself somewhat, and this can often happen in a love relationship, when your boundaries and those of the beloved are indistinct. It is certainly a time of great enjoyment, of feeling that you have discovered the meaning of all existence and it is in the realm of love and expansion. Most people are unable to exist constantly at such a high vibration of love indefinitely - as we need contrast in our life and experience so that we can differentiate what we prefer. So enjoy the feelings that you may be at home with now, and also know that with the ebb and flow of...
